A truly international offering
With operations in both France and Spain, it was important to Blue Square that the site offered good user experience to these two differing target audiences. Through a combination of clear messaging, carefully considered content layouts and intuitive filtration methods we built a site that allowed all clients to find the content and properties that were relevant to them in a hassle free fashion.
In addition to this, the site is multi lingual with with 5 different language versions (English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch).
A big part of this project was integrating the website with Blue Square’s property management system, which is powered by Salesforce. This connection means that the website is updated in realtime when any changes (property additions / amends etc.) are made through Salesforce.
We added in measures to alleviate the risk of the website crashing when large batches of data are being transferred (with over 2000 properties and 20,000 images this was important!) and we’re in the process of building a client account area where wishlists and property searches can be saved – and more importantly this data can be captured and fed through to the Blue Square sales teams.
Content – a value add and good for SEO.
The Blue Square site offers so much more than just property listings. We created custom designs, which are fully editable through the WordPress content management system, to enable Blue Square to offer their clients a wide range of content, including Neighbourhood Guides, a Blog, their Brand Story & Team, The Buying Process and Careers.
Not only does this content add value for their clients who read it , but it also helps with Blue Square’s ongoing SEO strategy, as being able to easily add relevant content does wonders for the site’s authority in the eyes of Google.
