Brand Agency Collaboration
We worked closely with J Marshall’s branding agency throughout this project. Given the business was brand new there was no prior branding or guidelines in place for us to reference. It was therefore a collaborative process, with us taking the conceptual ideas from the branding agency, adapting them to work within a digital framework, whilst keeping the essence of the brand in tact.
The J Marshall mattress range comprises of 4 luxurious types containing natural materials including wool, pashmina, cashmere and silk to give differing levels of comfort.
Through a product configurator we custom built into the site, customers are able to choose their mattress type and can then make their perfect bed, choosing a combination of different styles for the Divan Base, Headboard and Legs.
This customised bed can then be downloaded as a PDF and shared externally and with the J Marshall team.
A Phased Approach
The current site that is live is just the first phase. There are 2 more phases to come. But due to operational and budget constraints we worked with the client to put together a schedule to allow us to get an MVP (minimum viable product) live in a short space of time, that incorporated the “must have” features and functionality. We are now working with J Marshall to get phases 2 and 3 launched ASAP.
