LA based fashion designer, Monique Lhuillier, got in touch with us to help them re-platform their website onto Shopify Plus, unlocking the powerful e-commerce capability of the platform, but also to take advantage of the the new advancements of Shopify in being able to cope with increased levels of custom content pages, allowing Monique Lhuillier to offer a complete brand and shopping experience all under one roof.

In addition to the re-platforming of the website there was an opportunity for our UX and design team to help the client solve numerous UX and responsive issues that they were experiencing on their current website.

We teamed up with Global-e, an e-Commerce logistics provider, to enable all international business to be conducted in the customer’s local currency, all the way through the check out. The result of this is that there are no surprises, with regards price conversions, for the customer at such a key point in the purchasing journey.

We really took advantage of the new capabilities within Shopify to add in multiple custom content pages, giving Monique Lhuillier the opportunity to create a rich site with multiple landing pages for all the niche areas of their business.

Cross Pollination

Two key pillars of the new website are the online store and look book collections. Through the back end admin panel we have programmed it so the client can easily match products to look book items and therefore offer e-Commerce solutions throughout, without making the website feel too commercially focussed.
