Digitally Transforming the Brand
When The Planning Shop approached us in 2019, they felt that their existing digital offering did not reflect their true brand identity. Their previous website was clinical and scientific, and did not reflect the human elements of the brand.
Our brief was to reposition and digitally transform the brand to feel much more like an insight-led branding and communications consultancy, whose core focus is within the pharmaceutical sector.

Refining and Modernising the Visual Identity
A key challenge during this project was finding a balance between bringing the brand up-to-date with modern design thinking, without losing the core print brand guidelines, which we were quite dated.
We focussed on taking some elements of the brand, e.g. bright brand colours, and applying these to fit within a more modern and fresh design.
Animations, Interactions & Video
One of the core objectives was to make the new website interactive, to bring about a more engaging, ‘agency’ feel that was less serious and scientific. We incorporated a range of bright animations and transitions in order to achieve this.
We also included the ability to implement video headers to make the experience enjoyable for the user whilst navigating through the site.
